Gail Gammell is the author of several books. In addition to writing, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren (13, 15 & 17), her friends and her beautiful cavapoo, Bailey. An Irish-Canadian expat, she moved to the UK over a decade ago, while her grandkids were wee. Now that they’re older, she has more time to write.
When asked what she misses most about Canada, she says it’s her family and friends with whom she spent up to 6 decades. Plus some of the national foods… When asked if she’s glad to be in England, she offers a resounding yes!
Among her interests, besides writing, are reading, shopping, gardening, the royal family (esp. HLM Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William and Catherine), watching tv and films on her iPad, going to the theatre, to the cinema, finding new afternoon tea venues and having coffee and a natter with friends & fellow authors at Cafe W or Starbucks!
